Amcanion yr Ysgol

Credwn fod pob agwedd o fywyd yr ysgol yn chwarae rhan allweddol wrth greu ei hethos. Mae hapusrwydd y plentyn yn sylfaenol bwysig i’w ddatblygiad a’n bwriad ni yma yng Nghwmllynfell yw darparu awyrgylch croesawgar a chynnes lle y bydd plant yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi o fewn amgylchedd gofalus ac ysgogol.

Y mae’n fwriad gennym i sicrhau fod pob plentyn yn cael blas ar lwyddiant a cheisio gwneud pob unigolyn yn ymwybodol o’u potensial, fel y dônt i sylweddoli fod ganddyn nhw gyfraniad gwerthfawr i’w wneud i’r gymuned y maen nhw’n rhan ohoni. Unigolion sy’n gwneud ysgol ac felly mae pob plentyn yn unigryw. Ein nod yw i werthfawrogi, i galonogi ac i feithrin y sgiliau, doniau a diddordebau sydd gan y plentyn.

Ceisiwn hefyd gynorthwyo’r plentyn i ddatblygu meddwl bywiog, ymchwilgar a’r gallu i holi a thrafod rhesymol yn ogystal â’r awydd i gwblhau tasgau meddyliol a chorfforol. Y mae’n hanfodol dysgu’r sgiliau sylfaenol yn drwyadl yn y blynyddoedd cynnar er mwyn creu seiliau cadarn ar gyfer y dyfodol. Wrth deithio drwy’r ysgol gosodwn safonau uchel fel bo’r plentyn yn ymgeisio i wneud ei orau drwy’r amser. Nid da lle gellir gwell.

Amcanwn ddysgu parch ac ymwybyddiaeth o werthoedd crefyddol a moesol a chynorthwyo’r plant i sylweddoli fod bodolaeth y ddynolryw yn gofyn am gydweithrediad rhwng pobl a chenhedloedd. Trin pob plentyn yn deg ac yn gyfartal, a does dim lle i unrhyw ddirnadaeth o ran lliw, cymdeithasegol, crefydd, hil, rhyw na gallu.

Ceisiwn sicrhau fod pob plentyn yn gwbl ddwyieithog, ac yn ymwybodol o Gymreictod, a chariad at wlad ac iaith cyn gadael ein hysgol.

Aims of the School

We believe that every aspect of school life plays an important part in creating its ethos. The happiness of the child is of paramount importance to his/her development and our aim at Cwmllynfell is to create a caring and welcoming environment where each child is appreciated.

We aim to ensure that each child experiences success and are made aware of their potential so that they realise the important contribution that they make to the community that they are part of. Individuals make a school and therefore each child is unique. Our aim is to value, to encourage and to nurture skills, interests and talents which each child possesses.

It’s of prime importance to learn the basic skills in the early years to ensure a sound foundation for the future. We aim to help the child to develop an inquiring mind along with the ability to discuss rationally and to want to complete physical or mental tasks. As the child travels through the school we set high standards so that the child tries to do his /her best at all times.” Nid da lle gellir gwell.”

To show respect and an understanding of religious and moral values are also important for the children to understand so that they can become citizens of the future, who can cooperate with other people and nationalities. Each child should be treated fairly and equally and there is no room for any inequality because of colour, social class, religion, race, sex or ability. All children are expected to respect staff equally and to learn to do this they must always be shown a good example by adults.

We aim to make each child truly bilingual, aware of their culture and develop a love of Wales and its language before they leave our school.
